conducted Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) 2009.
An assessment for 15-year-old students on Reading, Mathematics and
Science with 65 countries took part including Singapore and Indonesia but
surprisingly our students were not included.
I wonder why.
Anyway, looking at the result, Singapore our tiny, tiny neighbour are always
on the top 5,
Singapore students ranked as follows:
*Second in Mathematics
*Fourth in Science
*Fifth in Reading
and if Malaysian students had participated where would we stand, ah?Maybe our DPM Muhyiddin as the Minister of Education could answer that.
