Just back from UKM Hospital after visiting a friend who kena stroke due to
the chronic high blood pressure. Okay, I ain't no doctor but gonna delve a bit
on HBP since I'm too on medications a long time ago.
This friend who is now in UKM hospital bed knew about his poor HBP
condition, yet never give a damn till he found out a little too late, the bloody
HBP could actually immobilised his left limbs! Meaning his left arm and left leg
could hardly moved, you could see the tinge of sadness and frustration on his
face as he laid on the bed looking rather helplessly. And he's only 48 years
young!!
So from today onwards, I'll keep reminding myself to take care of my health
which means less late night suppers, less fatty food and of course, less
Hokkien mee and Bak Kut Teh.
Now a little advice: If you ever feel persistent giddiness, or like having a
' heavy"head do check it out with your GP, especially if the headache occurs
at the back portion, most probably HBP has landed in your body.
Beware of HBP as its stroke might strike you out permanently.
