So students have to pass History in their SPM exams from 2013, it will be a
must pass subject in order to obtain SPM certificate besides Bahasa Malaysia.
Then why not English? Isn't English an important subject too?
Neighbouring countries like Thailand, Indonesia and even China are gearing up
to improve the standard of English among their student populace. And if
compare to our South little red dot, they are miles ahead of us.
The Education Minister cum DPM Muhyiddin should put things in their right
perspective, between History and English, the DPM seemed to stress that
students could fail English but not History!
DPM wouldn't dare to make English a compulsory subject was it cuz he knew
the majority students would fail?
Or he was afraid that the 'majority' may shun me.. and it's not proper, too?
DAMMIT! Why not English?
