CONNED BY AN EGYPTIAN

Many years ago, a friend of mine went makan angin in Egypt with his
girlfriend. The very next thing they did after arriving was to go camel riding.

They asked for 2 camels and off they went sight-seeing on camel backs.
Nice and enjoying themselves then an Egyptian man riding a horse came up to
them and offered to take photo for them. Sound good and friendly, yah.

So with the help from the Egyptian you know the click, cluck sound, Joe my
friend was able to get down from his camel and climbed up again together with
his sweetheart mounted on one camel.

The Egyptian guy got down from his horse, took Joe 's camera and started
clicking away on the happy couple. Then, after the photography session was
over, came the NIGHTMARE!!

The local cari makan Egyptian guy asked for payment for work done!

How much?
50 US dollars!

What? 50 dollars? Nope we are NOT paying.

Okay, very well, you can stay up there on the camel and I take
your expensive camera as my pay!

Joe trying his luck to get down from the camel with click, cluck, cluck click
but it didn't work, as if the bloody camel would only took orders from local
Egyptians and not from tourists. No matter what or how Joe did, the bloody
camel just refused to listen or be coaxed to let them down.

So what to do next? Both Joe and his friend were unable to dismount from
the stubborn camel, and with the Egyptian con guy holding Joe's high price
camera on the ground, demanding US50 BEFORE you can get back your
camera!

Joe's friend Annie finally said: We have been duped, dude!
