CAN WE GET OUT FROM THE LITTLE BOX CALLED ASEAN?

We're NOT the Asian Champion yet nor the Olympics, we're just an Asean
Champion after struggling for 14 years. No big deal. So why we're soooo happy
and excited ? Including the PM who declared Friday a public holiday just
becoz we are the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Champion!

Wah crowned as Jaguh kampung only, we're given a public holiday! So
seterusnya I think Najib or state governments gonna reward these winners
with land or bags full of cash, right? Then what happen next? These excessive
rewards will go to their heads then when the glorifying or shiok sendiri time
is over, the players semangat too evaporates and Malaysian football soon be
back to square one! Two or 3 years down the road, Malaysians footballers will
still be seen playing in the Asean zone and struggling hard to beat Vietnam or
Indonesia!
So I think any reward for these players should be minimal like giving a pat
on the back and belanja them at mamak will suffice. No?

Anyway, no matter how, Malaysia must compete with Asian countries like
South Korea , Japan or China if we wanna improve further.
We must work harder and move from boys to men where football is
concerned.
Frankly, I dare not dream too far.

AN UNACCEPTABLE CHRISTMAS PRESENT

Rais Yatim gave Malaysians a pressie for Christmas, the Information,
Communication and Culture Minister said

84% of Malaysians understand 1Malaysia

Wah, if that statement is true and accurate then Malaysia must be an
ideal country to live in and Malaysians are living in harmony at the
highest level. But no, 300,000 people emigrated, politicians still trading
punches showing their middle fingers to each other. The thought of changing
the BN government is on most Malaysian minds come GE13. Sigh.

So how can that statement of 84% statement be true and accurate and also
becoz, you know why? The survey was carried out by his own Rais's ministry!!

Haha, some more even people like Mahathir, DPM Muhyiddin and Ibrahim
also cannot understand what the hell is 1Malaysia, how to do expect ordinary
folks to comprehend the concept?

DAMMIT! How many will buy the survey done by your ministry, Rais?

TIRED OF POLITICKING

Malaysian politicians know only one thing: Fighting each other. They have
have been quarrelling non-stop since March 2008, and sometimes ordinary
citizens like me, just wanna give up on their antics and thinking of emigration
as a better option. Really feel tired la.
Malaysian politicians would fight each over everything even very trivial
matters, with the latest being

1Malaysia logo! As reported that Selangor government bans all billboards with
that logo in Selangor! Why?

I say Ronnie go lah fly kite, if you got nothing else to do!

DAMMIT!
Tell me Ronnie, are you fighting for the benefits of the rakyat or
for your own political interests?

LOANSHARK UPDATE

In previous post, I stated that I was curious as to why the police aren't
tackling the Ah long menace, and coincidentally a reply came in today from
the Malay Mail that in actual fact, the money lending and Ah long business
come under the Housing and Local Government Ministry!
Oops, I didn't know that.

So now we know that the Ah long activities aren't PDRM 's baby it's the
responsibility of the Housing and Local Government Ministry and according
to its minister Datuk Wira Chor Chee Heung, the ministry is more than
capable of handling Ah longs.

Is more than capable of handling Ah longs?? Huh!! Sure, ah? Why don't
the minister ask Michael Chong for an opinion?
If capable, then why we still read about Ah Long harassing borrowers or
family members?

In fact, Chor later admitted that “Loan sharks are the only serious
issue
relating to moneylending that we have to tackle.

If it's a serious issue, how do the ministry officials handle those Ah longs aka.
gangsters who threaten innocent family members? Do these government
servants carry firearms during the crack down on Ah longs? Or do they
ever carry any clamp down operations, at all?
Honestly, I've yet to read about any crackdown operations on Ah long in
my entire life !!

The minister added there will be amendments to the Moneylenders Act
that would enhance their abilities.

DAMMIT!
It's not only the stiffer penalties that solve the Ah long
problems it's the ENFORCEMENT!!

WHO IS SHE?

Pray tell me who's she?
Aung San Suu Kyi -you say

Are you sure?
Positive, it's Aung San Suu Kyi

Noo, wrong! This is Aung San Suu Kyi

This is the real freedom fighter!
Then who is she in the 1st pic? You ask.

LOAN SHARKS

We all know about loanshark activities which seem widespread everywhere
in Malaysia, right? These loansharks are brazen enough even putting up their
services in posters and pasted in every public places, be it on lamp posts or
telephone booths, walls and whatnots.

And these illegal money-lenders can get very mean on those borrowers who
can't pay back.
They would splash red paint on their cars/ houses or locked up
the borrowers house gates or main doors forcing those debt defaulters to pay
up.
It can be a very nasty yet frightening experience to those people in being
harassed by these tai yee loong-gangsters.

Now the question is: Why the police are not taking this loansharks menace
seriously? I mean who don't hear much about the authority taking actions
against these rogues, do we?
Whereas in Singapore, the Singapore Police seem to be cracking down on
loanshark involvement every single other day! If Singapore police are actively
taking actions , why can't our PDRM? I'm curious.

CHOOSING A POLITICAL PARTY

This afternoon a friend popped into my working place for a short chat on
Malaysian politics. Nathan was talking and thinking which political party is
the most ideal for the present scenario.

My take and by no means agreed in total by Nathan.

1. UMNO- A very perceived corrupt party with DPM Muhyiddin's I'm Malay
first thingy, it's definitely NOT drawing much support from non-Malay citizens.
Also adding more shit to UMNO is Perkasa. UMNO should considers Ibrahim
a liability rather than an asset, and the sooner UMNO realises that, the better.

2. MCA- Felt kinda uneasy that Malaysian Chinese are being led by a
blue DVD guy. Really can't understand why the Chinese can't find somebody
better than CSL? Always think OKT is a better choice.

3. MIC- A total damaged Indian party by an over stayed ex president.
So sad to see that PM Najib even had to dangle a carrot in order for Samy
to vacate the MIC hot seat. Like a daddy giving some sweets to his son
and persuading to attend kindergarten class.

4. Gerakan/ PPP- These are going nowhere parties. Absolutely non
existent.

5. PKR- A party that play politics and does NOTHING and can do NOTHING.
Absolutely, a talk only party.

6.PAS-Too Islamic party. Religious extremism can frighten anybody off.

7. DAP-Joining up with PAS was a grave mistake and what happen to
Karpal over my dead body's principles?

Finally, the only choice and hope and untested is Zaid Ibrahim's KITA!
At least we see Zaid hitting and whacks anyone who doesn't play a fair
game.
Besides Zaid 's KITA, can't think of another ideal party, can you?

AFF SUZUKI CUP

Who says PM Najib knows nothing about football in the country? See post
below.
Bernama reports PM Najib says reaching the final of the Suzuki Cup
is the
turning point for Malaysian soccer.

On what basis? Winning against minnow countries like Laos or Vietnam
mean NOTHING, get it?

We must be up against World Cup teams like South Korea, Japan or China
only then can we say Malaysia is on the road of soccer revival, if we can't
too bad we will remain as a mediocre team as far as football is concerned.

NOTHING TO SHOUT ABOUT

As always, I struggle to comprehend why Malaysian sports fans
going gaga over Malaysia qualifying for the AFF Suzuki Cup final-
a low grade soccer tourney where poor soccer countries
participated.

Isn't a shameful that we took 14 long years to qualify for the final in a small
unworthy tourney? How long then will Malaysia need to take for
us to qualify in the finals of the Commonwealth Games or for that
matter just qualifying for the World Cup? Perhaps another 3 more
decades or another next 3 generations?

Football fans must remember that the present soccer standard is
a far cry from the golden years of 70's and early 80's where we were
one of the powerhouse in soccer in South East Asia region in the
company of South Korea and Japan.

Look at South Korea now, they go the World Cup is like going for
breakfast. No sweat.
But Malaysia today have to fight to the last drop of sweat
even facing soccer minnows like Vietnam!

Seeing the sports minister and PM Najib getting soooo happy
and excited over nothing, indicates that these people know next
to nothing about the soccer standard in the country!

SATURDAY FUN

A scene during a press conference somewhere in East Malaysia purportedly
for the upcoming state election.

Chief Minister TM: Hey reporter, could you speak up? I can hardly hear
you, I'm 74 years old, you know..

Reporter: Sir regarding the state election, is Sarawak..

TM (interrupts): Hold please, I'm getting a call from Lebanon.
(Speaking on his mobile phone): Yes dear, I can hear you loud and clear..
Oh yes about honeymoon..

TM
turning back to the reporters: I think we should postpone this press
conference, I have to rush..

Reporter: But Sir, what about the state election preparation?

.... your attention please ..The Chief Minister has left the building......

ps.
Eugene says: An erection is anytime better than an election!
The truth story here.

NUDE IN SINGAPORE

Singaporean political leaders come out as cocky or damn bloody arrogant,
looking down on its neighbours, calling Malaysian leaders as incompetent
leaders, branding India as stupid and talking to Myanmar junta is like talking
to the dead.
Singaporeans have high expectations of themselves but do all Singaporeans
able to live up as a first class world nation?
Hmm... here take a look at this 2 pics below.

Last Thursday, a man sat naked in a pavement in Ang Mo Kio for several
hours before he was arrested.

a nude man making a call outside a restaurant in Queenstown.

Huh, at least we don't see this happening in Malaysia or India and
according to The Straits Times , 105 reports in first 6 months of this year!

Ha ha, let's laugh back at Singapore, they have more cuckoo people on the
island.

LOSING PUTRAJAYA TICKET.

The Barisan government must make sure that they have the majority
Malaysians support before whacking the opposition especially their leaders.

So suspending the four opposition MPs from Parliament for 6 months was
it a good political strategy?

Or is BN making a grave mistake here thus paving an easier path for
Pakatan Rakyat march to Putrajaya?

DAMMIT! This action by the ruling BN might cause the government to
lose the Putrajaya ticket.

SUNDAY POSER

No rice , can ah?

Can Asians not taking rice as staple food? Well. I could manage to live without
rice for just a couple of days but not more than a week. I think.
To asking rice eating Asians to give up on rice is liken asking a smoker to give
up cigarettes.
My regular food like nasi lemak and fried rice are basically a full plate of rice,
and Chinese food has to have some rice to go along with. How do you expect
of going to a Chinese restaurant to enjoy all those delicious yummy dishes
without rice? I dunno.
So, if you're an Asian, can you to live without rice?
Becoz apparently, the Indonesia authorities have launched a campaign to
encourage its people to take alternative food like corn, sago, cassava, sweet
potato and potato for public health interest and food sustainability .

ZAHID STILL ARROGANT

An arrogant minister remains an arrogant minister. Doesn't want to apologise
for what he had said instead now accusing another MP for 'twisting his remarks.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi accused DAP’s M.
Kulasegaran
today of “twisting” his remarks on the participation of non-Malays
in the Malaysian Armed Forces, now says that the DAP MP had
used the issue as a platform in the recent Perak DAP elections.

Zahid, as I said earlier that if you don't want to apologise , it's okay with those
non Malays, we'll see how you gonna fare in the next GE in your own
constituency. Also if MP Kula had twisted your remarks then by all means sue
the bugger till his 'full lat' ( literally in Chinese means pants dropping down)

So Zahid , I agreed with you “no need for an apology” and go ahead pick
a quarrel with MP Kula.

ELTON JOHN FOR ZAHID

For people like Zahid 'sorry seems to the hardest word'.
Zahid said: I did not mean to hurt non Malays.

Yes Zahid, non Malays understand what you meant. And if it's true that
you love that Elton John's song, then BN might lose only a few non Malays
votes in GE13, that's all. So Zahid, sleep well and don't worry a thing.

Don't need to apologise lah.

WHERE DO OUR 15 YEAR OLD STUDENTS STAND?

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
conducted Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) 2009.

An assessment for 15-year-old students on Reading, Mathematics and
Science with 65 countries took part including Singapore and Indonesia but
surprisingly our students were not included.
I wonder why.
Anyway, looking at the result, Singapore our tiny, tiny neighbour are always
on the top 5,

Singapore students ranked as follows:

*Second in Mathematics

*Fourth in Science

*Fifth in Reading

and if Malaysian students had participated where would we stand, ah?

Maybe our DPM Muhyiddin as the Minister of Education could answer that.

JUNTA ARE LOADED

Man, I just read from here that Myanmar military junta are damn bloody
filthy rich

This commander -in- chief wanted to buy/ takeover........ MANCHESTER
UNITED FOOTBALL team! They were thinking of paying US$1 billion!

DAMMIT!
Who says Myanmar is a poor country?

A HAPPY DAY

2 events happened today makes today a happy day at least to me.

One, Samy Vellu surrendered his MIC president post today
and
Two, Khir Toyo charged in court today.

Between the two events, Toyo's case attracts more interest. This time
around hopefully, MACC don't you ever goof again.Finding this dentist,
ex MB guilty and sending him behind bars should be the ultimate verdict
which might bring back some MACC lost credibility. And also might contribute
some positive influence on BN in the coming General election.
If this case turns out to be a 'sandiwara' then serious, may God helps BN in
GE 13.

COPS CHASING BAD GUY

Let me tell you what happened 2 nights ago around 9.45pm while walking
with a few friends to the car park after a hard day's work.

We saw a police patrol car chasing a youth up and down on the street like in
an action movie and suddenly somehow the running chap was charging
towards our direction trying to make good his escape from the cops.
He was running fast and soon was up close to where we were, we were almost
stunned with the suspect running past us when spontaneously,

I decided to stretch my leg out or passing kaki on the guy. But you know
what? That trick didn't stop him from fleeing, he jumped and dodged my
leg and kept running. Wow, clever boy! Ooops.

Behind me was my friend, Victor a former cop himself swung into action.
Victor followed up with one helluva hard kick on the youth's shin, but
nothing happened. The suspect didn't wince one bit, He didn't fall down either
just kept running away.
Perhaps Victor should have demonstrated a flying kick instead!

Anyway, we continued walking to our cars and yet we could see the
youth was still running with the police car in hot pursuit.
God knows what will happen to the super runner.

CAN OR CANNOT?

This coming Sunday, there will be 2 groups of protesters marching towards
Istana over water issue in Selangor.

One,"red shirt"’ supporters of the Selangor government and two,
"black shirt" marchers opposing the Pakatan Rakyat-led state
government

According to the police, no permits were issued for both rallies with the
police warning: Don't take part in Sunday rallies

But listen to this advice given by Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu
Seman Yusop :Follow the law and march peacefully.

DAMMIT! Can or Cannot? Whom shall we listen to? The KL police chief
DCP Zulkifli Abdullah or the Deputy Home Minister?

VERY MESSY

It's getting more and more messy as the day goes by, HERE.

Could anyone explain exactly the meanings/ differences of ketuanan
Melayu, ketuanan rakyat,
Malay supremacy and
ketuanan Islam” in REAL terms?

These words are damn confusing, aren't they?

BACK IN ACTION

Dude, dah semboh ke?

Ibrahim Ali argued today that the concept of “ketuanan Melayu”
is a constitutionally guaranteed right for all Malays, warning
that any attempts to denounce the concept would be a “human
crime” to the Malay race.

Guess the best person to rebut this Perkasa bugger is Nazri Aziz who might
considers Ibrahim as having cow dung in his brain.
Please la Ibrahim , chill la cikit, worried that you might get a heart attack
soon, just leave all these farting to your Arman Azha Abu Hanifah who called
Kak Wan as political prostitute or to Perkasa Wirawati chief Zaira
Jaafar who said:
the PKR de facto leader is not only “a demon sent to destroy
the Malays but a traitor to his own race, a traitor to his country,
a traitor to his religion and a traitor to his king.”

You see la, they are damn good in condemning fellow Malaysians, so Ibrahim
take a back seat and let's watch your ma-chai do the clowning for a change.
