MESSAGE TO THE NATION

We, the undersigned civil society organizations are shocked, angered
and saddened by the “Cow-Head protest” in Shah Alam last Friday (28
August) against a proposed Hindu temple in Section 23 of the city.

The carrying of the head of a freshly slaughtered cow, a sacred animal to
the Hindus, and the unveiled threat of bloodshed on the eve of
Merdeka celebration suggest that all Malaysians need to reflect deeply
about our 52 years of nationhood, and the clarion call of 1Malaysia

From the outset, these heinous acts of crime perpetrated by the irresponsible
few must NEVER be seen as a conflict between the two faiths or the
two faith communities. All major spiritual traditions, Islam and
Hinduism included, uphold peace and human dignity as their common and
core values. Our spirituality and love for humanity mandates us for
the perpetual quest for peace and abhorrence of all forms of hatred
and civil disorder.

The Shah Alam incident sadly reveals that violence and hatred are
still inadequately delegitimized in our society. We exhort all
Malaysians to unite in our joint efforts to decry and delegitimize
violence and hatred to prevent any individual or grouping from
resorting to intimidation or provocation when faced with any
town-planning disputes or rows of similar nature.

We the undersigned, taking cognizance of the above, do hereby :

1. URGE that all disputes in civil society must be resolved through
peaceful means such as peaceful demonstrations, rational dialogues,
extensive consultations and legal suits. The Selangor State
Government’s plan to hold a town hall meeting to facilitate
communication and engagement with all stakeholders is highly
commendable.

2. CONDEMN in the strongest possible language any act to humiliate and
intimidate any ethno-religious community, in this case the irreligious
and irresponsible display of a cow head. In the Shah Alam incident,
not only the Hindus are humiliated and hurt but also all thinking
Malaysians – Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, Sikh, those of other
spiritual traditions and atheist. We particularly share the pain and
anguish of the Shah Alam Hindu community.

3. URGE all religious authorities, community leaders and political
parties to unreservedly condemn the perpetrators of the reprehensible
“Cow-Head” act. Every racial and religious bigot should be shamed
and distanced by the general public especially by their ethno-religious community which they seek to represent. Political parties must also take disciplinary action against members involved in inciting hatred. This would deprive them the pleasure and gratification of self-righteousness and heroism. Legal punishment alone may prove inadequate because it may instead grant the offenders the self-perceived honour of martyrdom.

4. SUPPORT a thorough investigation of those responsible for theCow-Head” protest for threatening violence (not sedition) on both the local Hindu community and the elected State Government of Selangor.

Threats of violence, for whatever reason, has no place in a civilised society. Violence must be condemned and can only be completely delegitimised when society has zero tolerance for it and every offender is appropriately punished.

5. EXPRESS shock and dismay at the failure of the police force to stop the protestors from issuing their threats of bloodshed. An independent investigation on professional negligence should be immediately initiated to examine these policing failures of a potentially fulminating racial and religious crisis. This incident among others further highlights the dire importance and urgent need for an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC).

The IPCMC is a must if the Najib Administration is genuinely
committed to peace in Malaysia.

6. CALL on all Malaysians to heed our plea to completely delegitimise
violence and hatred and to strive towards its elimination from our public life. Let this be our joint resolution for our nation’s forthcoming Merdeka anniversary. Let us usher in a Malaysia which cherishes the values of peace, reason, justice, freedom, equity and inclusion for all Malaysians.

ARE YOU PROUD TO BE A MALAYSIAN?

Just a few hours ago, I asked in my blog 'ARE YOU PROUD TO
BE A MALAYSIAN?
Now here are the answers from Bernama

The bottomline: how true or accurate is the survey?

MERDEKA? SO WHAT? SHAME ON YOU MALAYSIA

Even after 52 years of independence, Malaysians CANNOT
sit on a roundtable to talk or discuss, Malaysians only know about
street demonstrations, showing hatred, anger, intolerance,
causing disunity and doing

the most unthinkable, the most despicable and the most uncivilised
act that Malaysians themselves have ever seen before!

ARE YOU PROUD TO BE A MALAYSIAN??

Saturday, August 29, 2009

WHAT MERDEKA

When......
1. We want to cane a Muslim woman for drinking a few glasses
of beer
2.Malaysians quarrelled among themselves, we chopped off a
cow's head
3. We have to watch Black Eyed Peas concert without our
Muslim friends.
4. Some religious morons calling for Michael Learns To Rock's
concert to be scrapped
5.Malaysians don't have the spirit of patriotism so much so
a Minister wants to educate the rakyat on showing patriotism.

After 52 years of Merdeka... what Merdeka?

DR CHUA KENA SACKED

kicked out for trying to be a DVD star....

With the expulsion of Dr Chua Soi Lek from MCA , basically that
means MCA is digging its own grave or as my friend puts it
'kicking its own bucket.' Simply becoz MCA would start to in-
fighting among themselves till MCA collapses down totally!

Till today since March 2008, MCA can hardly attract Chinese
voters to vote for BN candidates in all the 7 or 8 by-elections
and yet finishing off some politicians are important than
losing the Chinese confidence in MCA .

The present president Ong Tee Keat besides facing internal
opposition within MCA itself, also has to square off with the
Tiong guy on the PKFZ issue and also RM10 million thing.
The way I look at it Ong has to triumph on the PKFZ and
RM10 million issue otherwise MCA would definetly be drowned
in this trouble waters, sooner than expected!!

FANCY A HAIRCUT FOR £15,000?

A normal haircut in London costs £30.
But the Sultan of Brunei is said to have paid £15,000
(about RM86,516)
to get a London barber to trim his hair
in what is believed to be the most expensive haircut ever.

Wow, now I'm contemplating of changing my career!

NOW IT'S GOOD NEWS AGAIN

The Pahang Syariah Court Chief Syarie has ordered the whipping

So is the punishment on this Muslim woman right
or wrong?

TALIBANIZATION OF MALAYSIA?

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, who had pleaded guilty at
the syariah
court in Kuantan for consuming alcohol in
public
last month, will now undergo her caning sentence
after Ramadan.

Selangor mosque officers - imam, nazir, bilal and siak -
are now
empowered to arrest Muslims drinking alcohol
in public places, said Selangor executive councillor for
religious matters Dr Hassan Ali.He said they could also
arrest
Muslims selling and storing alcohol beverages.
The officers were also empowered to arrest Muslims who
commit offences deemed disrespectful in the month of
Ramadan.

PAS today called for Danish band Michael Learns to Rock
to be banned from performing next month, saying it was
an
insult to Muslims during Ramadan. more..

What's wrong with MLTR?

Is this song an insult to Muslims?
Or is Malaysia turning into another Taliban with the likes
of Hassan Ali?

URGENT APPEAL!!!

Leading women’s rights activists and civil society organizations in Malaysia and around the world are deeply concerned about the current case of Madam Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, who has been sentenced by the Pahang Syariah Court in Malaysia to six strokes of the rotan (and fined RM 5000) for drinking beer in a hotel nightclub two years ago. The sentence is expected to be carried out on 3rd August 2009 (or 14 days from 20 July 2009).

According to news reports, Madam Kartika is likely to be the first Malaysian woman ever to be caned, even though the caning of Muslims is included as a punishment in section 125 and section 126 of the Pahang Syariah Criminal Procedure Enactment 2002.

The total and maximum sentences of RM5,000 fine, 6 lashes of the rotan and a 7-day imprisonment for alcohol drinking is extremely harsh and is totally disproportionate to the offence It is also contrary to general sentencing principles considering that Kartika is a first offender and there is no violence involved in this offence. She has expressed regret and that her action has not caused harm to anyone. Furthermore, the whipping of women is disallowed by the Federal criminal law.

Corporal Punishment, whether for men or women, citizens or migrants should be removed. The fact that such a sentence exists or is imposed is a deterioration of human rights standards applied by the State .It is clear from International Laws that all forms of Corporal Punishment violates human rights and human dignity. It is cruel, inhumane and a degrading punishment.

Neither the Holy Quran nor the Hadith invokes a penalty for alcohol consumption. The sin of consuming alcohol is described in the Quran in the mildest language of prohibition. The punishment against Kartika is also against the spirit of Shariah as the Quran repeatedly urges Muslims to forgive those who wrong them; Kartika has repeatedly expressed her remorse.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Please send your letters of protest, appeals and interventions to the government of Malaysia to revoke the sentence on Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno and abolish corporal punishment to:

Sample letter

Dear Madam/Sir,

Revoke the sentence on Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno and abolish corporal punishment

We are writing to you to express our concern that a Malaysian citizen Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno has been sentenced by the Syariah High Court in the Malaysian state of Pahang to receive six (6) strokes of caning for consuming alcohol.

We urge the Malaysian government to revoke this sentence. Executing this sentence will amount to the torture of an individual by the state and contradicts Malaysia’s international commitments to uphold human rights principles.

We further urge the Malaysian government to review existing provisions in the State and Federal laws so as to abolish corporal punishment.

We urge the Government of Malaysia to continue to uphold human rights as guaranteed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the Federal Constitution of Malaysia.

Sincerely

HOPING THE CANNING WILL NOT HAPPEN

As a non-muslim,I gotta admit that I don't understand
much about Islamic laws, but punishing a muslim with
RM 5000 fine, 6 of the best and a few days detention
in prison over a few glasses of beer!!

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno who was caught drinking
beer in public was meted with that such punishment
which I opined was a bit too much and harsh to say
the least. With people like Terengganu Chief Syariah
Judge
Datuk Ismail Yahya and Senior law lecturer
Professor Shad Saleem Faruqi saying the punishment
was wrong I just hope and pray that this whipping
thing will not materialise at all.
She had paid the fine but will she be pardoned from the canning?
Can anybody help her?

NO NEED PPSMI, YA

Don't worry lah our children will be THE BEST ....

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says the
Education
Ministry will ensure the new curriculum
for English language be
based on recommendations
from experts and linguists.

Oh listening to the experts, no need to listen to the raykat issit?
If not, why recommendations from thousands and thousands of
Malaysian parents including Tun Dr. Mahathir who want PPSMI
are not taken into considerations by the ministry? At the very
least, let PPSMI be implemented for secondary schools.

Muhyiddin reassuring words:
parents need not worry that the teaching of Science and
Mathematics in Bahasa Malaysia would erode their children’s
capacity to master English....
....extending the teaching hours (on English) and ensuring
that an
additional 13,000 teachers become top-notch linguists
Logically is it not wise for Malaysian children to master English
are allowed to study Science and Maths in English, learning
English with extended hours and with the help of 13000 top notch
linguists?
Muhyiddin said the Federal Government wanted the country’s
education system to be on par or better than those of developed
nations...as they will be competing in a world which
is increasingly
becoming more challenging

Yes Malaysian future leaders would be on par with the world and then
when they are attending world conferences, or international
functions, Malaysian participants will have language interpreters
by their sides. That's undoubtedly will be the most challenging
for our future Malaysians!
DAMN IT!!
Wishing Muslim readers:

BILA BERBUKA PUASA NANTI

STILL BLUR BLUR ,LAH

In today STAR, it says that the government plans to review
The Police Act to allow the public to assemble in specific places
without the need for a police permit, Home Minister Datuk Seri
Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said.
okay fine understood, yes.

Hishammuddin said police had on many occasions issued permits

to those who wanted to hold gatherings at “secured places” like
stadiums but could not allow the same privilege to “those who
want to cause trouble and hold gatherings outside (on the streets).”
Oh I see, holding gathering is a privilege in Malaysia. Not our rights,
meh?

The plan is to table the amendment to the Police Act together

with the review of the ISA so the people can see that the
Government is serious in addressing certain perceptions, even
if it is just a perception,” he stressed.
What perceptions? Huh! In most cases those perceptions are FACTS.

“After that, we will hold a meeting with the stakeholders to

explain the rationale behind amending the laws. It is important
that they understand where we are coming from and what our
intentions are.
Who are the stakeholders? The Malaysian public?
So by the way, where are you coming from? From another planet
and not from Malaysian soil?

“We want the rakyat to know that we have never abused the ISA.
It is only used to protect the safety and interest of the people and
the security of the nation,” he said.
Never abused the ISA? What a joke, dude! If that's case, then what
the hell the street demonstration in Kuala Lumpur a couple of weeks
back was all about?

As I have mentioned, I'm still blurred, blurred with Home Minister
Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein's deft explanations!!
Can somebody explain to me as I think my English is not up to
mark!

THE LETTER SO VERY IMPORTANT

Let's enjoy this song Mr.Postman not from Karen Carpenters but
The Beatles

I think by now, most of you must have heard about THAT mystery
letter received by Gobind Singh Deo, the lawyer for Teoh Beng
Hock’s family the letter that alleged Khir Toyo was involved in a
conspiracy with a senior anti-graft officer to bring down the
Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Selangor government.HERE
Oh I just can't wait to read THAT letter coz I'm sure by reading
the mystery letter would make my day, really! But then again Toyo
has warned that he(Toyo)would sue whoever publish it, but why?
Why afraid of that piece of paper if you're inocent?
Hmm, let the police investigate the contents and check all its claim
as demanded by the coroner in the inquest into Teoh’s death.
Hold it, asking to police to check on MACC 's involvement?
As my friend said 'Kan MACC dengan PDRM abang-adik,
So how? Besides PDRM, who else can investigate the
MACC's senior official accused of widespread corruption, as alleged?

RUNNING FOR A BEAUTY CONTEST,ROHAIZAT?

this pose okay ah? Or this one, howzatt?

which you prefer?

This fella from BN candidate Rohaizat Othman thinks he's going
for a beauty contest or Mr. Malaysia Handsome man contest or
what? Rohaizat said he had to pose no less than 500 times to get
the right shots to be used in his posters and other election
campaign material.
OMG! Posing himself in front of a camera 500 times to get some
shots to please who? Huh!For yourself to look more handsome
than any ordinary Ahmad or Ali? Really ridiculous, man!
You're running for a seat in a state Assembly only, not running
for some sort of beauty pageants la! Why you need to be so
nice looking for what? Ooh perhaps more lady voters gonna vote
for you , issit?
Hey dude, please don't dream of winning this Pematang Pasir
by-election against the PAS guy, you got no chance at all,
you gonna lose dude, and you know why? Becoz you're a tainted
candidate!! You as a lawyer ran off with your client's money over
an unsuccessful land deal!
Now if you say otherwise and you are a“victim of circumstances”
and that it
was his legal firm’s partner who had absconded with the
RM161,000 belonging to the Penang Rubber Smallholders'
Co-operative.(as explained by Umno and BN information chief
Ahmad Maslan, at a press conference here last night)

Then I suggest you sue the Bar Council for haven's sake , sue
them for they are saying that you, Rohaizat had breached
professional ethics and committed a serious offence.
So posing 500 times in front of the camera or with thousand and
thousand posters of your best pose and most handsome face
won't make you a winner here in Permatang Pasir.
Wanna wage with me, anyone?

A(H1N1)-BLOWING IN THE WIND

Okay everybody sing along..this lines...(from 2:10)
..yes how many deaths will it takes..
till Najib knows that too many people have died...
the answer my friend is H1N1 in the wind....
the answer is blowing in the wind...

GOOD MOVE KHALID

A blogger asks "Who gives the Menteri Besar's office the right to
decide when the anti-graft officials can or cannot interview them?
My answer:
Look familiar, ah?

Again the blogger asks:What(Who) gives Khalid Ibrahim the idea
that politicians
from Pakatan Rakyat must be treated differently
when it comes
to corruption?
My reply:TEOH BENG HOCK, that's who.

If Teoh Beng Hock is alive today, do you think Khalid Ibrahim
would issue the directive to his employees? Khalid Ibrahim comes
out as a reasonable employer who concerned for his employees
safety? What's wrong with that? In fact Khalid should be given
a standing ovation and a pat on his back for giving that order
and certainly doesn't need criticisms especially from Rocky.

FREINDSHIP TURN SOUR

Very interesting isn't it? When they 're good friends, you know
buddy-buddy they 're really good friends, everything got no
problem. RM10 million? No problem, what emergency? No
transport? No problem? Can use buddy's plane, but, when
that friendship turn into a spat against each other, I tell you
it's like 'all hell broke loose'.
Tiong: Remember or not my RM 10 million loan.. err RM10
million donation to your political party?
Ong:Where I got take your money?Don't simply say ah, I sue you!
Tiong:Yes, c'mon sue, I gave you RM1o million in 3 instalments,
remember or not?
Ong: Where's the proof?
Tee(the political party secretary-general): Yelah, no sign of
RM10million in the party account lah and after all, our political
party's very rich mah 'we have RM2 billion assets and don't need
donations from outsiders!
Tiong: And you didn't pay for travelling in my plane?
Ong:What? How come you didn't ask for payment? You also
didn't send any invoices, so how was I know I have to pay?
So they're gonna meet in court to settle their problems and as
they say 'you don't have permanent friends when you 're in politics!
Yes?
Here, between this 2 guys, either one will be a loser, and
maybe, just maybe one be charged for corruption if MACC decides
to join in the fun and investigate!!
Just mark my words.

SOME WACKY STORIES

A woman in Negeri Sembilan had claimed that her late
husband had stacked up a WHOPPING RM160 BILLION
in 2 banks. If what she claimed to be true then
1.She'll be the richest person in the world, ahead of Bill Gates
2 The RM160 billion exceeds the nation’s reserves
3 The amount is three times more than the combined wealth
of Malaysia’s super rich Tan Sri Robert Kuok and Ananda Krishnan.
After some investigations by the 2 banks concerned, they revealed
that her late husband had only RM1600 in his accounts!!
And the latest news this woman who was not happy with what
she heard, planned to complain to Bank Negara that she
had been cheated!
Crazy or what?
Ina dey? how you caculate la?

From Samy Vellu 's mouth came with this unbelievable piece:
That his Indian voters will be 'kingmakers' in the upcoming
Permatang Pasir by-election!! He said although the Indian voters
are only 1.63 per cent or about 350 people their votes may
determine the outcome.Samy, Samy just shut up and go back to
sleep la!The state constituency has 20,289 votes
(including postal voters) with 72.36 per cent being Malays,
25.85 per cent Chinese and 1.63 per cent Indians.
Okay, let say the Malay voters are split 50-50 between PAS
and UMNO, then obivously, the 'kingmakers' would be the Chinese
voters since they're holding 25% compared to 1.63% Indians!
What la, Samy don't say for the sake of your ego, do la some
caculations before you blurt out rubbish from your mouth, can ah?

Lastly,I can understand why so many, many Malaysians are sooo
STUNNED with this:
Defence counsel Jagdeep Singh said to the witness: So do
you agree that in the clip Karpal Singh said that we will sue the
Sultan together with the new state government as defendants
if they persist.
Eliana: We could mean I.

Jagdeep: So what is we? Do you understand English? What is we?

So do you agree that we is not I?

The reporter kept quiet.

Jagdeep: So do you agree that your understanding (of the word we)

was a complete misunderstanding?

Eliana: I don’t know.

Eliana is a reporter for RTM,who also admitted that she didn't know
which party Karpal Singh belongs to during his sedition trial in the
High Court today. She also does not know who Datuk Seri Anwar
Ibrahim is and only described him as the president of Parti
Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
Sigh, how the hell she became a reporter?
Anybody?
DAMN IT!

KAMPONG BUAH PALA AGAIN

Now residents have agreed to move out from 'The High Chaparral'
or Kg Buah Pala by Sept 1, well that's a bit of good news all around.
At this point in time, a total of of 15 families had taken up the offer
by the developer so end of the day, the people at The High Chaparral
who didn't take up the offer may end up as losers!
I don't know about you but to me, a RM500,000 house offer
was definitely a good bargain for any squatter house !
Don't you agree?

WHY SINGAPORE SO GENEROUS

Wah liao eh, Singapore are so generous nowadays, I always thought
they are damn stingy and very 'kiasu' people.
The Singapore government had just given out a Distinguished Service
Order (DSO) award to our IGP recently and now they're conferring
yet another one to our Malaysian police!

Malaysian police Special Branch (SB) director Datuk Seri Ramli
Sha'ari has been conferred Singapore's Meritorious Service Medal
(Pingat Jasa Gemilang) by the republic's president in establishing
stronger for his role ties between the SB and the Internal Security
Department of Singapore (ISD).
You see our PDRM are damn good, so good that Singapore Police
hor giving 2 pingat, not 1 but 2 you know medals to PDRM!!
Who say our PDRM are lousy and no good? Singapore usually
don't give their medals so easily one unlike here in Malaysia.
Actually, I think Singapore are very smart people, they don't give
something for nothing, you see they are very 'kia see' and very
'kiasu' also. They want our police to catch militants for the sake
of security in the region since now the Indonesian police
has confirmed
the militant leader Noordin Mat Top is still alive!
Singapore , you're scared aren't you? Give la more 'pingat
jasa gemilang'!! Malaysian police deserve them.

OVER MY DEAD BODY, SAYS WHO?

Yesterday, I wrote (see post below )
.....and I remember someone from the DAP had said
'over my dead body 'should now laid flat on the ground
in Kg Buah Pala waiting for the developer's tractor to roll over!!
DAP fellas,where's the body huh?
And surprisingly and interestingly a reply came, today The Star reported
Seri Delima assemblyman R.S.N. Rayer... also explained that
his promise of protecting the village “over my dead body”
was made on condition that the villagers had to vacate their
homes without getting a single sen. “The circumstances is
different now. “They’re offered double-storey houses worth
about RM500,000. I don’t see any reason for me to stand in
front of the bulldozers,” he said.

Okay fair enough, Mr. Rayer so you don't need to stand or lie
down in front the bulldozes then. And yesterday 4 families signed
up with the developer accepting the offer, but the fate of the other
20 families, so how anil?

THE HIGH CHAPARRAL, WHAT'S NEXT?

Even with Buck Cannon,John Cannon or Manolito Montoya also cannot
help The High Chaparral from being history..

The Kampung Buah Pala episode or better known as The High
Chaparral would raise the final curtain?

As the residents of Kg Buah Pala had rejected the developer's
offer of a double storey house for each of the 24 families
costing RM500,00 each sadly with that decision, the developer
has now withdrawn their offer and are coming down with
their demolition team anytime now.The Penang state
government under Lim Guan Eng had said they have 'washed '
their hands off from the case, so now the question is what
happen next? Funnily, why did the people at The Chaparral
reject a half million ringgit houses for something that
really don't belonged to them in the first place?
No matter what their arguments were, they are still
squatting on private property!
And I remember someone from the DAP had said
'over my dead body 'should now laid flat on the ground
in Kg Buah Pala waiting for the developer's tractor to roll over!!
DAP fellas,where's the body huh?
DAMN IT!

H1N1 ON THE RISE..

The latest count is 26 deaths relating to H1N1 and
according to NST :
The spread of influenza A (H1N1) can no longer be
contained.
In acknowledging this yesterday, director-general
of Health Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said all the isolation wards
and beds
in intensive care units (ICU) in government
and private hospitals were full.
So that's a bit scary but don't worry here are some preventives
measures and I find one of the prevention methods rather
amusing though
Avoiding masturbation and homosexual activities are
among preventive measures one could take against
Influenza A (H1N1), according to an eminent practitioner of
complimentary therapy.More....

According to Bernama, drinking coconut water is recommended
as a herbal prevention of H1N1 virus. Or alternatively, you may take
Welsh Whisky, yelah if your religion allows you to drink to prevent
H1N1 from killing you.
( see my post below-TAMIFLU OR WELSH WHISKY)

HOW TO UNDERSTAND YOU, YB

becos you cakap tak serupa bikin..

English is the native language of more than 350 million people.

It is the international language of diplomacy, business, science,
technology, banking, computing, medicine and defence.
Wah well said sir, bravo, correct, correct correct. But why on
earth you abolished PPSMI and depriving Malaysian children from
learning Science and Maths in English! I don't understand you
Sir.
"We can no longer ignore the importance of English as a factor
in lending quality to our education,"
Totally agreed with you, but why then you don't allow parents
to choose what is good for their children 's education? So you say
English is important but then you made stupid decisions even Tun
Dr. Mahathir also felt angry with your abolition of PPSMI!
Please la next time , say something that make sense la , can ah! Bcoz
we , as Malaysians also can think ma, what is good and what is bad!

DAMN IT!!
ps. Just now, I was so pissed off with this fella that I forgot
to mention his name, for people who still don't know him
or not bother to know, he is our Deputy Prime Minister
of Malaysia Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin also the Education Minister.

REMEMBER WOODEN BOWL

from zorro-unmasked

I guarantee you will remember the tale of the Wooden Bowl tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now as I just did.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year - old grandson..
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, water spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
'We must do something about father,' said the son.
'I've had enough of his spilled drink, noisy eating, and food on the floor.'

So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner.
There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.
Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl.

When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a spoon or spilled food.

The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded,
'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.
' The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.

That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a chopstick was dropped, water spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things:
a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and something tangled.

I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life..'

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you
But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others,
your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.

I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.

People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

I've learned that you should pass this on to everyone you care about. I just did to all ANAK BANGSA MALAYSIA. Do take care of our elders....they always deserve that....so no wooden bowls please!

NO NEED TO BAN BEER ,LAH.....

If you're a non drinker, no matter how beautiful this commercial
video is

and with all these tempting, irresistible drinks in front of your eyes

nothing can ever force you to drink, right? You don't drink alcohol
mean you WON'T drink alcohol, simple as that.
Why then wanting to 'blanket' ban on beer? Why must Selangor PAS
wants to make life difficult for beer drinkers?
Well, as least Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim talked sense.

IT'S THE SPORTS MINISTER AGAIN

If only Sports Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek has
read my blog, then at least he might forever keep his mouth
shut about sports in the country.

...dreaming of hosting 2022 Fifa World Cup.. Alice in Wonderland...

But unfortunately, Shabery is the sports minister so
we have no choice but to listen to all his sport craps being
the latest shit from him is this:
“When I came into office,(meaning when he became
the Sports Minister a few months ago) I toyed with the idea
of bidding for the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
“Some people scoffed
and laughed
at my plans but we have 13 years ahead of us
We could have come up with a development plan for the
national team.
Sadly, it didn’t materialise as the bidding
date was over.”

YB, you're really talking rubbish and as I have said before
you as a Sports Minster doesn't know any damn thing
about sports in the country! Really , I really mean that,
you simply out of touch and are clueless about sports
happening in Malaysia.
Okay, let me brief you some facts that you ought to know
and should have known.
Your idea of bidding 2022 Fifa World Cup-What position
is Malaysia in FIFA ranking now? Do you know or not?
No, let me tell you Malaysia is in ranking no.152 !!
South Africa might not be a very rich rich country
to host 2010 World Cup Final but at least they are in position
no.72. Our best Asian countries in football are Japan(39 position)
and South Korea (48).So YB, Malaysia is miles and miles
apart compared to these countries and for Malaysia
to qualify for the World Cup is being the host? Was that on
your mind, to qualify by hosting and not thru merits?
Next,we have 13 years ahead of us. We could have come up
with a development plan for the national team.
Malaysian football is really really down and you think you
can turn-around within 13 years! Shaberry, you gotta be kidding!
Some people have been there in FAM for ages and can't do
nothing, yet you being a Sports Minister for a few months
arrogantly confident that you can make Malaysia into a power
house in football! Wake up Sir, our footballers can't even beat
Singapore, Thailand . Indonesia or even Vietnam!
GET REAL!
DAMN IT!

TAMIFLUE OR WELSH WHISKY

Interestingly,Russian football fans were urged to drink
a lot of Welsh whisky while in Wales to watch next
month’s World Cup qualifier as a form of "disinfection"
against swine flu.(H1N1). here
Wah, how nice to drink this stuff if you think you might
kena H1N1 or Selsema Babi

Or if you know someone who's most highly to have swine flu,
tell him/ her, don't fret

Cheers! Just Drink Welsh whisky! And it'll will take care
of that dreadful H1N1!
And the jolly patient doesn't need to swallow this

Tamiflu capsules and according to a source they're very costly too
it costs US$11.69 for a 75mg capsule!

Hopefully we will hear more from our Malaysia Medical Association
regarding Welsh Whisky to ward off H1N1 thing.
Cheers ! Whisky anyone?

LEARN ENGLISH-THE SINGAPORE WAY

I received this piece from http://www.talkingcock.com/
No offence meant here, please take this as some fun and if you
find this session of learning English is not to your liking kindly
shoo away.
here you can see an example of a young man very kindly teaching
his grandmother certain common and very useful everyday English
phrases. So after this, she can work in a McDonald’s leow – and
speak the same lingo as her youthful customers!

IS MUSA HASSAN DAT GOOD AS IGP?

Well, at least to the Singapore government and Singapore
police, they think he is good, and also they believe Musa Hassan
is a top cop and that's why Singapore government conferred him
Distinguished Service Order (DSO) award for his "outstanding
contributions in fostering excellent ties and cooperation"
between the Malaysian
police and the Republic's police force.

But knowing Singapore as a 'kiasu' country, there's no free lunch here
you must give them something before they give you anything
as Lee Kuan Yew had said 'you give me sand I give you your third
bridge' So most likely, Malaysian police have given them a ' peace
of mind' by helping them to nab this militant guy

Mas Selamat Kastari who escaped from Singapore detention camp
earlier this year and Malaysian police nabbed him somewhere
in Johore sometime ago. And that's why Singapore police
were sooo very grateful and gave DSO award to the Malaysian IGP.
This militant was so terror and dangerous that he could scare
the shit out of all Singaporeans!

And here you see Singaporeans were really frightened of this guy
that they posted this message all over Singapore before Mas Selamat
was recaptured by our PDRM.

But over here, Malaysians have doubts about Musa Hassan 's
competence as a top cop in the country. The ever increasing
crime rate and in a survey done recently most Malaysians don't
feel safe here and last Saturday, the aggresive handling by the
PDRM on the anti ISA demonstrators are some of the reasons
why opposition calling PM Najib not to extent the services of
Musa Hassan as IGP come this September.
So the bottomline 'IS MUSA HASSAN DAT GOOD AS
MALAYSIAN IGP?

ABOUT BEER AND ISLAMIC LAWS

First we had a Muslim woman in Pahang who was fined
RM 5000 with 6 lashes of the rotan for drinking beer in public.

Then some enforcement officers from the Shah Alam Municipal
Council confiscated 70 cans of beer from a convenience store
in Shah Alam. Now, Selangor PAS wants the Pakatan state
government to implement a blanket ban on the sale of alcohol
in all Muslim-majority areas.

Also Selangor PAS wants state executive councillor Ronnie Liu
to be removed from his post as head of local government bcos
Ronnie Liu was meddling with Islamic affairs in the state
of Selangor. And last heard was the MB of Selangor was thinking
how to stop Muslims employees from touching alcohol!!
So in the upcoming by-election in Permatang Pasir in Penang
it's like choosing between the devils (UMNO) and the deep blue
sea (PAS) which one you choose?
My vote: the devils.

MALAYSIA HAVE WORLD CLASS ATHLETES?

World class buildings, world class airport and also world class
athletes, you know....

Youth and Sports minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek was not
too happy that Malaysians in general have yet to fully adapt sports
as a culture, okay fair enough, and I don't wish to add any comments
to that, but definitely not this
Although we have world class athletes ...
Hello Sir, since when do we have world class athletes in our
midst, huh? How come I dunno one?And how many do we have
by the way? 20, 30?
YB, we most probably have only 2 or 3 world class athletes
and do you know how much we spent and in fact still spending
on our sport developments, yearly?
The government spending millions and millions and yet we produced
only 2 or 3 world class players, very sad and disappointing isn't it?
World class athletes? Nicol David one, Lee Chong Wei another one la
and perhaps another one from bowling, that's all.
More often than not, Ministers who speak without knowing anything
really can make your temperature goes sky high.
Malaysia got WORLD CLASS athletes?
DAMN IT!

WHAT NAZRI WAS SAYING....

The joker of the year 2009, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz
had it again with his silly statement
"As long as Barisan Nasional is leading the government,
the ISA will not be abolished,” Nazri told reporters
in Kota Kinabalu here
So what he meant was, that the ISA will only be
abolished if BN loses in the next general election?
Okay, we as voters got your message loud and clear:
IF YOU WANT ISA TO BE ABOLISHED THEN DON'T VOTE FOR BN
Am I right with my interpretations?
DAMN IT!!
