ANTI-HOPPING LAW

By right, immediately after the March 2008 general
election every elected state or parliament representative
should seriously get down to work.

Working towards improvements of the community and
the country as a whole, but sadly, we don’t really
see that happening.

Some politicians are still busy politicking and campaigning
in their own party so they be elected in their coming
party election.

Some are still trying to do ‘crossovers’ and dancing
‘hip-hops’ with each other resulting 1 Umno elected rep.
crossing over to PKR in the state of Perak.

One opposition leader did ‘crossovers’ unsuccessfully
in Sarawak as he had this dream of going to Putrajaya
as the next Prime Minister of Malaysia.

I say let’s have the anti- hopping laws NOW

NO LABU AIRPORT?

If Labu-airport is really off as reported then

a lot of people who opposed will be very happy indeed.

I’m happy too, more so b’cos the government

is beginning to listen to the wishes of the rakyat.

Syabas! Datuk Seri Najib.

BOTA-JUMPING SHIP

I must congratulate Datuk Nasaruddin for ‘jumping ship’
from a BN assemblyman to a PR. What a brave man he was!
On record;
He was 1st elected BN representative (parliament or state)
to crossover to PR since March 2008 general election.

But then again, why?...
One of the reasons, according to him, he felt could serve his constituency better if he joins PR.
Or was it be’cos of his own political future?

He might have the backings and advice from his supporters
but did he ask for opinions from those voters who voted for him under the BN ticket?

Be a gentleman Nasaruddin, resign from the state seat
let’s have a by-election again.

Let’s see;
If BN will lose again for the 3rd time in by-elections after March 2008? They lost in Permatang Pauh and KT
by-elections.
Will BN lose in Bota? I really wanna know.

2ND STIMULUS PLAN

I would say it was a smart and wise move by Datuk Seri Najib(www.1malaysia.com.my) on inviting input of ideas and suggestions from Malaysians on the 2nd stimulus package plan to be launched later.

With the government’s think-tank and the people‘s ideas hopefully the plan will be implemented successfully and benefits all sectors of the raykat
come what may.

Lastly, getting some feedbacks from Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad who has vast experiences in economy downturn would help Malaysia in a long run.
Don’t you agree?

LABU AIRPORT

Well, I’m back from CNY, so howdy?

Happily I heard that SIME DARBY has no intentions of going
into the airport business as feared earlier.

Good for SIME DARBY for that decision, it would be much better if they won’t sell that piece of Labu- airport land to Air Asia at all.
they may sell to any other buyer for other developments but not for
airport terminals as proposed by Air Asia.

p.s
CNY= CHINESE NEW YEAR.

YOU SEE WHAT I SEE....

It’s a pleasure meeting my favourite blogger -Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad.
He and his wife were attending the ‘Hiroshima and Nagasaki speak’ exhibition at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday.

About Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad.
He is a visionary leader who inspires and motivates Malaysians to be ‘Malaysia Boleh’.

About ‘Hiroshima & Nagasaki speak’ Exhibition
Basically in a nutshell, it showed how destructive
atomic bombs could do to mankind and the organizers
encouraged people around the world to make ‘War a Crime’.

Who will win?

On my right we have Datuk Tony Fernandes(Air Asia) and SIME DARBY, on my left we have Tun Dr. Mahathir, Malay Mail and Wee Choo Keong.

The motion for the debate is: The Setting up Of LABU-
Airport (The Fourth Airport) Is A Necessity.

Datuk Tony is in favour whereas Tun Mahathir is against
the motion.

The judge for this fiery debate will be the Government
of Malaysia who has no choice but to decide the winner.

Who will win? Any takers?

p.s.
As an observer, this blogger feels the best solution is to defer its judgment indefinitely as in IJN case.

OVER THE WEEKEND

MU Top The EPL
Great! MU top the English Premier League for
the 1st time this season after beating Bolton 1-0.
BRAVO, MU! That’s the way to go, staying
on top.

Ceasefire in Gaza
A piece of good news really, it would be much
better if the ceasefire could be permanent rather than
a ‘fragile’ ceasefire.

You Know What?
I just met and shook his hand that one Malaysian VIP
that I long to meet- Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
He was attending the ‘Hiroshima and Nagasaki speak’
exhibition in Central Market in Kuala Lumpur.
Coming face to face with him was a quite personal experience for me and made me speechless.
(My pix with Tun Dr. Mahathir will be in my next posting)

Finally, something bitter got into my mouth.
PAS won the KT by-election.I was hoping for a BN
win. Losing two by-elections after the March 2008
is not that encouraging at all!
Over to you, Datuk Seri Najib.

ONE HAPPY GUY

I should be a happy guy if the following events
will happen within the next 10 days:

1. MU Top The English Premier League
Yes, I am a MU (Manchester United) fan and
certainly I will be very delighted if MU beat
Bolton this coming Saturday and top the Premier League.

2. BN For A Win
My bet will be on BN for a win in the KT by-election
as PAS‘s hudud laws agenda is making me a little
bit of ‘uneasiness’ and ‘discomfort’.

3. White Flag For SIME DARBY
If SIME DARBY raises the White Flag again,
this time abandoning its plan on the KLIA-East
@Labu.With so much criticisms, protests and firing
from so many quarters it would be wise for SIME DARBY
to pullout.

4. Advertisement On My Blog
If my 1st ads. appears on my blog it will surely
make my day! since I am a newbie hardly 2 months
in blogging. My congrats has to go to my 1st
advertiser.

5.Peace In Gaza
If there is a ceasefire in Gaza and the Israelis have
stopped killing Palestinians then I should be happily
screaming ‘Thank God it’s Friday’.
Now let’s pray, my friends.

STOPPING THE ISRAELIS

Even with street demonstrations and protests
around the world with boycotting US and Israel
products and what nots, the Israelis
would still bombed Palestine till their targets
were met. The Israelis even dared to defiant
UN resolutions on immediate ceasefire on Palestine.

Somehow, the world has to stop the Israelis from
damaging Palestine any further.

Let’s us give them (Israel) tit for tat. Can’t we?

Those countries that support or sympathise with
Palestine could formed an allied armed forces and attack
Israel continuously with warplanes, bombs and rockets
until the Israelis stopped the bombardment on Palestine.
That would really take care of Israel from bullying Palestine.

Remember the bombings on Hiroshima by Britain and
its allies thus stopping the Japanese from further
military invasions?

CRIME IS INCREASING

Out of the blues, my Australian friend asked me
this; Is the crime rate in Malaysia keep on
increasing by the day?

I was stunned. I just could not answer him.
How should I answer him? Yes or no?

Imagine folks, he was just a visitor to Malaysia
and he heard so much crimes being committed
in Malaysia that he felt so ‘uncomfortable’ to be in
Kuala Lumpur.

SPORTS IN MALAYSIA

The Malay Mail is inviting its readers to give thoughts
or ideas about sports in Malaysia starting from Jan 15.
To me, talking about Malaysian sports is basically waste
of time b’cos sports in Malaysia is really nothing to shout about.

Except for squash, bowling and to small extent badminton
the rest of the sports in Malaysia are simply rubbish especially
hockey and soccer the main culprits.

Hockey and soccer have been in the dumps for ages and
nobody seems able to help them. What a shame!

The govt. should spend the taxpayers’ money on those successful
sports at least we will have more real sports people like Nicol David,
Shalin and Lee Chong Wei to make us feel proud to be a Malaysian.

POOR BUSINESS

If you are in small retail business and most likely in the same boat as
yours truly, then you might notice that business in the1st week of 2009
doesn’t look promising at all.

In fact sales-wise it has been going down the slope as days go by,
and looking quite frightening and scary as far as sales are concerned.

People walking into my shop nowadays, are mostly just window shopping or have a low purchasing power.

My next-door shop had just closed for good at the end of 2008 and in fact
there were a few more that went bust during the last few months of
2008.

As for me, I am still trying my level best to stay afloat and praying hard for God’s divine help so that my business is still relevant to my clients.
Bless me.

SIME DARBY PULLS OUT

I am pleasantly surprised to hear that SIME DARBY had aborted their
plan to take over IJN.
3 Cheers for Tun Dr. Mahathir and all supporters of IJN.
Thank you SIME DARBY for listening to the Malaysian raykat.

LUCKY DECEMBER 2008

The last month in 2008 (December) I should say
that it was a lucky month for me.

I struck for 4D (4 digits) MAGNUM 5 times within
the month of December 2008 even though the amount
was rather small and kinda of disappointed with myself.

For the New Year 2009, especially before I celebrate my
Chinese New Year festival fervently hoping I strike 4D big
really big and that will be beautiful and sweet. Haa haaa!!

sSTREET DEMO

STREET DEMONSTRATIONS
I just wonder why people around the world continuously making street demonstrations knowing that nothing concrete would really come out from demonstrations.

There has to be better ways in solving problems, personally I feel that street demonstrations get
you nowhere. Certainly, street demo is not my cup of tea, anyway.

I believe street demonstrations is wrong and making 2 wrongs doesn’t make 1 right. You know what I mean?

Look at Thailand at this point in time, their people are having demonstrations after demonstrations against their government of the day. When are they going to stop protesting?

Right now, people in some parts of the world (including Malaysia) are taking actions by protesting and making street demonstrations against Israel for attacking Palestine but will these actions able to stop Israeli from killing and bombing the Palestinians?

STEVEN GERARD

WELCOME & HELLO 2009!

I somehow feel a bit worried for Liverpool and England
after reading that Steven Gerard had been charged for
assault even though I am a MU fan.

If he is found guilty in court, hopefully he be fined rather
locked up in jail and I am putting my fingers crossed that
he will be alright.

Anyway Happy 2009 everybody and God Bless!
