Everyone should know by now that BN had picked Tan Sri Isa Abdul
Samad, as the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Bagan
Pinang state by-election. The most imminent question on
Malaysians minds 'why choose a tainted money politics politician?
And our Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had
the answers:
"That's why in my speech earlier, I did not make my own
decision because of his popularity and also the wishes of
the constituents. And they (the residents) said Isa!
Isa! Isa! ....only then did I announce it because that is
the choice of the voters here,"
Oh, the people shouted Isa, Isa, Isa, hmmm.. but thought
someone heard otherwise
I too remember vividly an 'open secret' that before attending
a political 'ceramah 'supporters of political parties would ask some
questions like:
Tonite ceramah sekolah apa ah?
Sekolah Kebanegsaan or Sek.Inggeris?
( Sek.kebangsaan stands for 'kosong' meaning 'no money' will be
given to supporters.
Sek.Inggeris means 'ada isi' got money la, so must go la)
Berapa tiang? Or Berapa batang?
(1 tiang= RM1k, batang =RM 100).
So are UMNO or BN really serious about anti money politics or
anti corruption in the party?
I DOUBT.
