STOP THE MAT REMPIT

The Police have been using this tough like military training punishment on
these Mat Rempit forcing them to push their bikes in this instance, a distance
of 15km to the Police HQ.Quite obvious, this kinda punishment was not going to work anymore as the
mat rempit menace still exists.

How can the problem be solved when the police think that pushing the bikes
for 15km was too tiring for these Mat Rempit, so the Police gave these Mat
Rempit a short rest for every 2 km? LOL.

DAMMIT! The Police gotta be dead serious, hauled these Mat Rempit to
court and charge them for being a nuisance and for endangering the lives of
other road users. Seize and detain their motorbikes.

Or for more drastic action, follow the Indonesia's way:
A Malaysian asked an Indonesian taxi driver how they solved this mat rempit
activity he replied: POLISI TEMBAK!

STOP THE 100 -STOREY MEGA TOWER

Today if the BN government were to consult any soothsayers, the answer
will be the same and only with ONE answer: SHELVE OFF OR SHIP OFF!

Simple as that. With over 200,000 people (and still counting) against the
Warisan Merdeka project, PM Najib basically has NO choice but to call off his
bigger than 'Mahathir's twin tower ' project if he still wants to rule.

It's beyond the rakyat as they see it as another unnecessary project and
DAMMIT! Why the BN is doing its own Kamikaze when GE13 is just around
the corner? I'm clueless.

*sob*...too bad EPISODE ENDS

When May came out with *sob*...too bad teaser a day earlier, my thought
was that she had lost her quest for her PR passport in UK.
Luckily and fortunately, I was dead wrong. Yes, I was wroooong , I jumped
the gun. May has replied later when I shot her with my question this morning.
I asked: May wat hapen? Issit becoz of ur pr?
May answers:
no la..still waiting..but i thought i can get it n go back msia this
week cos my best fren get wed..i really want to join them...

Thank goodness, never have I feel sooo happy even though my
assumption and presumption miserably gone down the drain.
Anyway, May thank you for your prompt reply if not more dirt might spew
out from my mouth. And that will be a real shit.

THREE LITTLE WORDS

Last night I kept tossing and turning on my bed and couldn't catch my forty
winks just cuz of three simple words. Of course not those good feeling 'I love U'
but these 3 words were so touchy and prickly that can make you not having a
good night sleep!

My niece who is in UK posted these 3 simple words on the Facebook which I
happened it to read as I about was to hit the sack for the day. Damn, what an
impact on my mind! She wrote *sob*...too bad. Period.
As an uncle, I guess I understand what she meant when she wrote that if
only my guess and understanding was totally wrong which I would gladly accept.

After graduation 5 or 6 years ago, May stayed on in UK and started working
and eventually set up her own 'take away' food business. She obviously love to
live in that part of the world as she began to apply for her PR passport and just
2 years ago she was granted a further 5 years Visa pending the decision on
her PR application by the British authority.
Getting the Visa was like a step closer in acquisition of her PR, which
everyone of us hope that eventually she would be granted.

May has put in a lot effort, time and pounds in her quest for a PR passport
and if that *sob*...too bad meant that her application has been rejected,
then I think it's gonna be a big blow to her. She has to sell off her business,
come back to Malaysia and trying to familiarise to culture change again
especially the Malaysian weather where once she told me 'it's too hot for me'.

Anyway, whether my take on *sob*...too bad is totally wrong or off
track we should know in a couple of days when everything is much clearer and
what exactly did she mean by*sob*...too bad.

CORRUPTION ON THE RISE

With the attorney-general revealing so much shortcomings/ irregularities in
various state departments and agencies so it comes as no surprise really,
that the Transparency International’s (TI) Corruption Perception Index
(CPI) this year had stated that Malaysia had dipped further to 4.4 out of 10,
being 10 the least corrupt.

Two of that most bizarre, amazing and unbelievable scandals I have read yet
so far :

THE National Higher Education Fund Corporation
(PTPTN),
which is projected to face a whopping
cash flow deficit of RM46bil, mysteriously approved
loans totalling RM23.78mil to 16,013 students who
did not apply for the facility.
See what I mean? To apply for a loan you need MyKad, right? So where or
how did PTPTN get the 16013 MyKads then, if these student didn't apply
for the loans? Amazing, isn't it?

The next amazing irregularity which made me really dumbfounded was:
In Kelantan, the Audit Department came across a water pipeline shown in
a map of Taman Desa Wira Pengalan Chepa that actually did not exist.
Simply amazing, Malaysia.

DAMMIT! These scandals should be registered with the Believe It Or

Not category!

R.I.P. PAUL

Still remember 'the sotong' or not, Paul from Germany? Well the sad news is
Paul the octopus has died. Sob, sob.

Now I guess it's kinda too late to ask Paul to predict Who will win Galas &
Batu Sapi By-Elections?

DAMN

If not, I might win a few hundred ringgit from my regular bookie.

NO DRUGS AS REWARD

Congrats to the police for their biggest bust of Eramin 5 yet so far this year
with 320kg worth some RM 20 million.
That's a lot drugs and worth a lot of money, ya

Any bounty for me?

Light-heartedly, do we gonna see those police officers who were involved
with this successful raid, rubbing their hands together gleefully and asking
" How many kilos we gonna get as rewards?" Or the Bukit Aman Narcotics
Chief keep thinking" How much Eramin 5 shall I give my boys for a job well
done?
Hope not. Those deserving police guys should be rewarded by any other
ways but not making them as drug peddlers, as I remember a case which is
still pending in court, some officers were charged for corruption for taking
some seized drugs as rewards!

WHY NOT ENGLISH?

So students have to pass History in their SPM exams from 2013, it will be a
must pass subject in order to obtain SPM certificate besides Bahasa Malaysia.

Then why not English? Isn't English an important subject too?
Neighbouring countries like Thailand, Indonesia and even China are gearing up
to improve the standard of English among their student populace. And if
compare to our South little red dot, they are miles ahead of us.

The Education Minister cum DPM Muhyiddin should put things in their right
perspective, between History and English, the DPM seemed to stress that
students could fail English but not History!

DPM wouldn't dare to make English a compulsory subject was it cuz he knew
the majority students would fail?
Or he was afraid that the 'majority' may shun me.. and it's not proper, too?

DAMMIT!
Why not English?

ROONEY STAYS AT MU

The latest goooood news: Wayne Rooney had signed the dots for another 5
more years to stay at MU.
Then again, what made Rooney performed flip-flop u-turn?
Was Rooney got cold sweat cuz of this?

That MU fans threatened him with "JOIN CITY AND YOU'RE DEAD"
or was it cuz of this

That Sir Alex Ferguson managed to hold him and talked him out?

Anyway, whichever way that made Wayne Rooney changed his mind was
definitely a verrrrrrry good news for ALL MU fans, although didn't agree with
the death threat.
Should able to sleep well tonite as Wayne Rooney saga has been put to bed.

MACC AT WORK

The STAR reports Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)
deputy commissioner (operations) Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdul
has expressed his disappointment over the commission's failure
to win some high-profile corruption cases recently.
"This gives the public a negative perception of our agency, as
though we are not taking matters seriously,"

I dunno, it's not taking matters seriously, or bias or selective prosecution?

One case in point, former MB Selangor's mansion, what's the status of
investigation now by MACC? I think the rakyat have the right to know why
MACC taking soooooo long to complete its investigation on this particular case.

Of the average 10,000 cases reported every year, he said only half
could be probed and eventually, only about 200 cases could be
brought to court after getting permission to prosecute.

Wah fantastic record huh, out of 10000 cases reported, 5000 cases were
thrown out for reasons only known to MACC. So 5000 cases would be
investigated where only 200 cases would face the courts!

And hear this in order to prosecute these 200, MACC also must get
permission first, but from whom? DAMMIT! I thought MACC is supposed
to be an independent body!
A mere 20% out of 10000 cases reported be charged but only 68.1% out 200
cases were convicted!

In other words, only 136.2 cases were convicted out of the 10000 cases
reported! Where does MACC stand in Jala's KPI or whatever?

Singapore and Hong Kong have a 90% conviction rate while
Indonesia and China have almost a 100% rate. In those countries,
the evidence adduced in court is strong enough and guarantees
conviction,"

Why, why these countries can have HIGH % of conviction rate? Why can't
we? It beats me. Seriously, we gotta eat some humble pie and go for a study
tour to these countries.
But of course really study tours la, and not go to some Disneyland's and
coming back empty- handed or issit empty headed? LOL

A STROKE THAT'S DANGEROUS

Just back from UKM Hospital after visiting a friend who kena stroke due to
the chronic high blood pressure. Okay, I ain't no doctor but gonna delve a bit
on HBP since I'm too on medications a long time ago.

This friend who is now in UKM hospital bed knew about his poor HBP
condition, yet never give a damn till he found out a little too late, the bloody
HBP could actually immobilised his left limbs! Meaning his left arm and left leg
could hardly moved, you could see the tinge of sadness and frustration on his
face as he laid on the bed looking rather helplessly. And he's only 48 years
young!!
So from today onwards, I'll keep reminding myself to take care of my health
which means less late night suppers, less fatty food and of course, less
Hokkien mee and Bak Kut Teh.

Now a little advice: If you ever feel persistent giddiness, or like having a
' heavy"head do check it out with your GP, especially if the headache occurs
at the back portion, most probably HBP has landed in your body.

Beware of HBP as its stroke might strike you out permanently.

Reading this brilliant student's success story is so impress and really envy
his achievements and awards.

Top student in his final-year law examinations at Cambridge
University.

Scored the “Slaughter and May” prize given by the university’s
Law Faculty
– an award given to those who achieve the best
overall performance in the final-year law examinations.

He bagged include The Norton Rose Prize for Commercial Law

The Clifford Chance Prize for European Union Law

The Herbert Smith Prize for Conflict of Laws.

Then almost till the tail-end of his story, Tan Zhongshan dropped a bomb or
bluntly put, a knock-out punch on the face of Malaysian government
“I will also join the Singapore Legal Service in January,” said Tan,
who was awarded an Asean scholarship by Singapore’s Ministry of
Education

This is one of many, many thousands of brain-drain happenings and Singapore
as always are a step ahead of us in almost everything including grabbing our
TOP students!

What a shame, and oh yes, we do have a Talent Corp to woo back
some 70,000 Malaysians working overseas

But DAMMIT! I come to understand that this Talent Corp as yet to be
implemented!

GUESS WHAT?

Today after brunch, popped over to Victor's antique shop and he greeted me
with a question
Guess, what this is or rather what is inside this cabinet?

I really dunno what the heck this is, do you?

Hmm, it is made from solid wood that's for sure, well varnished looks like a
writing top cum small cabinet.

Okay, okay revealing the secret...

Victor said that this sewing machine was popular in the 50's or early 60's

Wah, it comes with an electric extension pedal too.

By the way, any interested bidders do get in touch with me, maybe can get
some commission mah.

MAID, HOME MANAGER AND BABY-SITTER

I last posted about my amusement on why some people from Felda came
out with words like 'home manager' instead of maid and this sort of remind
me of an old joke about baby-sitters which you might have heard before.

This young English couple needed a baby -sitter for a day for their 2 month
baby girl, so they called up a maid's agency for a baby-sitter.
Half an hour later, a Chinese lady appeared on their doorstep and declared
" My name is Ann and I'm the baby sister!

GAME FOR HOME MANAGERS, ANYONE?

Hey, do you know what are 'HOME MANAGERS?' Or do you want a"HOME
MANAGER" to manage your home?
Yes, You hear it alright, 'Home Manager' and according to a report by
THE SUN, these 'Home Managers' will be trained by Yayasan Felda on
personal hygiene, cooking, child care and other relevant areas who can
replace the foreign imports.
So actually these 'Home Managers' are maids la, LOL. Okay, I ain't looking
down on maids but what I find soooo amusing is that why they coined such
a glamorous title! Home Manager?? Oh, perhaps with that kind of title,
these maids could fetch a higher pay, I dunno, it's amazed me really.
Why can't they say that Felda are training maids to replace foreign maids.
Period.
Anyway, according to Felda Chairman Tan Sri Dr Mohd Yusof Nor "The first
batch of 100 'home managers' were those who could not pursue
their studies at higher learning institutions.
If these are literate maids are they be willing to scrub our toilets and wash
dirty dishes and ooh yes, they also have 'male' home managers!
Which category of household needs a male maid? I wonder.

WHY OH WHY 100 STOREY MEGA TOWER?

Malaysians have been knocking their heads off wanting to know why the
government wants to build another tallest building in Malaysia again, maybe
or perhaps I got the answers from the page of ANIL

Why do we need the proposed RM5 billion 100-storey Warisan Merdeka Tower (to be built by Permodalan Nasional Berhad)?

A. We have a serious shortage of commercial space in the Klang Valley. Plus the cronies are hungry.

B. We have a healthy fiscal surplus and we don’t know what to do with all that spare cash. Fiscal deficit? What fiscal deficit? Nah, can’t be.

C. No major earthquake will ever strike our country.

D. Najib’s tower has to be higher than Mahathir’s Twin Towers. And we have excellent public transport to ensure congestion is minimal. Besides, we could greenwash the project and call it a ‘zero-carbon’ green tower.

E. Because Malaysia Boleh! “The most important thing is that we can do it. Why should we hold back?” as Ng Yen Yen puts it. Even if the country could be heading to bankruptcy. A tower is more important for the rakyat. They will be so proud.

F. I don’t know. I give up. You tell me

LOVE THY COUNTRY

When you're a sportsman representing your country, you gotta have the love
pride , patriotism and commitment and really feel honoured to represent the
nation in an international event. Playing for your country is something to die
for.
But for this sportsman

who has the mentality of Sabahan first Malaysian second, weightlifter Aricco
Jumitih is one sportsman we can do without. He should only participate
domestically and not internationally if the wants to wear the state attire
instead of the Malaysian 's attire.

And ironically, we have one misfit freaking sports minister who came out
supporting Aricco saying: What is the point of wearing the 'right' attire
and losing compared with winning with an alternative attire,"

DAMMIT!
What happened to 1Malaysia concept, then?

POLICE PERMIT, IS IT NECESSARY?

Some fellas from the Bar Council or to be precise volunteers from the Legal
Aid Centre were distributing copies of the book Police and Your Basic
Rights
to the public in Bukit Jalil on Sunday when they were detained by
the police because they did not have a police permit.

As a layman, I wonder why do they need a permit for distributing the Bar
Council Red Book when the book was officially launched by a government
minister in 2006! Which ironically provides information on what to do
when stopped, arrested or questioned by the police.

If the book provides correct and useful information, why stop them from
distributing to the public? Getting the police permit does that make any
difference in any way?
If that book could create chaos, confusion or racial unrest in the country then
I do understand, but the need to have a police permit for a book that helps
the public to understand the laws better is beyond me.

Wonder whether one needs the distributing permit for a book on say' how
to breast feed your baby?' or 'How to use a condom the proper way?'

Or must we apply a police permit to distribute any damn thing to the public,
including free food to the poor?

TO SPOT A PENDATANG

Readily agreed with PM Najib who says do not regard Malaysian
Chinese as 'pendatang', let me give one or two classic examples of
a real pendatang in Malaysia.

You walk into a Chinese owned restaurant, you see those young
people working as waiters/waitresses, they look and dress up like
Malaysians Chinese but NOT really Malaysians most probably they're
from Myanmar or Vietnam. They do speak the Cantonese dialect but NOT
really sound like Cantonese, then you are quite sure these are the real
pendatang especially when you order a bowl of 'hor fun' (mee soup) and
emphatically telling them that you want only chilli padi without
'see-yau' (soy sauce).

Next thing you know, is that they serve you the 'hor fun' alright but come
with chilli padi cum see-yau'

in a tiny soy sauce bowl! DAMMIT! Gotta explain to them again that
you only want the chilli padi NOT the soy- sauce, off they go and come
back with a new replacement- a tiny bowl with filled with the soy sauce!!
OMG! Got no choice but to call another waiter/waitress telling that person
what I really want- a tiny bowl with chilli padi, please. OK ok, comes the reply.
Then you know what? That bloody waiter/waitress will come back to my
table with one bowl of chiili padi and another bowl full of see-yau!!!
THAT'S A PENDATANG FOR YOU.

Or you go to a mamak restoran to have a drink with your friends, you're
bound to meet 8-10 young Indians working there, they look like Malaysians
but NOT Malaysians most probably they're Banglas, Nepalis, or Pakistanis.
They can speak smattering Malay but your temper possibly maxed out by
their understanding of our National language. As you try to order 'satu Milo
ice kosong' Meaning that you want only a glass of iced Milo without milk or
sugar. They'll serve you with one glass of iced Milo and with another glass of
sky juice!!

Ya, another pendatang for you and certainly NOT those
Malaysians Chinese who have been loyal citizens of Malaysia for the
past three to five generations.

PERKASA TO GIVE GALAS A MISS?

Ah, Ibrahim Ali and his Perkasa gang are not going to campaign for UMNO/
Barisan Nasional in the upcoming by-election in Galas Kelantan. Why?

Since this bugger boasting of 300,000 Perkasa members are in his bag
who are allegedly UMNO members, they would formed a rather strong
force as campaign workers for UMNO. No?

According to report There is also talk of Umno’s fear that any further
association with Perkasa would cause a fracture in its support
base and affect its chances in the ballot box.

DAMMIT! Perkasa should get involved as many of us Malaysians would
love to see the sizable support he has from Ibrahim Ali homestate, in fact
Perkasa
should put up its own member as a candidate. That will be interesting,
ya?
