As a Malaysian, it's saddened to hear from an ex-premier that Malaysia
belongs to the Malays and other races are expected to respect
Malay sovereignty.
If that is the case then our schoolchildren of other races shouldn't be allowed
to sing the national anthem- Negara Ku during school assembly.
Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku,
Rakyat hidup, bersatu dan maju,
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta.
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta.
We sing our Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku, yet you
still not considered Malaysia belongs to ALL MALAYSIANS?
We sing Raja kita, selamat bertakhta, yet you say that
we the other races should respect Malay sovereignty?
What else do you want Mahthir from us the other races' before you accept
ALL of us as truly Malayians?
