STOLEN
In 2007, 2 jet fighter engines were STOLEN from the Malaysian
army military camp reportedly worth about RM 50 million each.
But the authority later said the engines were valued at
RM300,000 market price at that point in time. And ironically,
only 2 small fry were charged in court for the missing engines!
DAMAGED
In June 2007, a brand-new Sukhoi jet landed on the runway
at the Gong Kedak air base in Kelantan. Apparently, it was
believed that aircraft suffered "foreign object damage"
(FOD), as it goes in air force lingo, after its engines
sucked in stones and other objects as it landed. MORE
What's happening, RMAF?
STOLEN OR DAMAGED engines at RM50 million each, down
onto the longkang and DAMMIT! no one in the army including
Minister of Defense coming forward to hold responsibility for losing
millions and millions of taxpayers ringgit?
Stolen jet engines only 2 persons were charged in court, for
DAMAGED engines so far no one was hauled up, then must the
rakyat have to 'close 1 eye, ah?
