The Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan was
lecturing to some government officers to heed of the fall of mighty teams
like England, Brazil and Argen-tina in the recent Fifa World Cup.
I only wish that he was directing these teguran to ALL BARISAN
NASIONAL politicians especially those holding important or ministerial
posts.
Mohd Sidek said:“All too often we are in a game, albeit a job, for
so long that we perceive it our own to claim and no one else’s.
We think it is our birth right as we are the ‘indigenous’, the
bumiputra and the ones with the only right over it,’’
(Right on. Perkasa Ibrahim Ali, you hear that ah? Every Malaysian deserves
the right to be equally and fairly treated.)
He reminded his fellow officers that for too long they thought
they couldn’t be replaced because of their “superstar” status.
(Of course those MPs, Ministers, VIPs and whatnots, soon your super status
will be gone come GE13!)
“We psyche ourselves into believing, even to the point of self-
deception, that only we can do the job and an outsider could not
survive the pace, or know the rhythm.
(BN fellas got to remember that Pakatan Rakyat people are anxiously
waiting to get Putrajaya. They might able to a better job.)
“We build a ‘club mentality’ amongst us and subliminally we stifle
all else that seems foreign to us. We insist that we are the
deserving ‘stars’ of any right that the job might offer. Yet when we
are told to raise our game and deliver, we fail, as England did at
the World Cup, so abysmally.”
( Ask yourself as a politician , have you failed the rakyat?)
He said the time had come for a change and that government
officers should realise that they need to “shape up or ship out”
as there are others who could do their jobs and do it even better
( DAMMIT! BN fellas time had come for a change and you're about to
ship out come GE13!)
