advice is NOT to play or represent for your country in any international
sports competition especially football!
Here I'm not encouraging the North Koreans to be unpatriotic but rather
to avoid being send to military camps if you performed miserably in
international competition. Being the latest punishment meted out to
sportsmen were the North Korea football team who participated in just
concluded World Cup 2010 in South Africa, where the North Korea played
badly losing all their preliminary matches and even lost to Portugal 7-0.
The North Korea football team was shamed to a 6 hour inquiry, criticized
by their Sports minister as 400 government officials, students and
journalists watched. The coach was forced to become a builder instead.
DAMMIT! The punishment lashed out by the Korean authority was damn
bloody primitive, don't you think so? For more here
