ANTI-HOPPING LAW, PLEASE

THERE is no urgent need to introduce an anti-hopping law as

party hopping by elected representatives is not rampant in Malaysia

voters elect their representatives with their knowledge that

their Member of Parliament or Assemblymen can jump ships.

said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department-

Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.

(from The STAR & NST)

What a baffling reply from Nazri!
We voters don’t give them the right to jump ships, you know
That’s why we need the Anti hopping laws b’cos we don’t want them to jump ships after getting elected!

If elected MP or ADUN jump ship they are Insulting the voters’ intelligence. They will make us (the voters) look like stupid fools.

Why, not urgent? The political impasse happening in Perak was a result of jumping ships from a few ADUN and yet Nazri said ‘no urgent to implement those Anti hopping laws.
Come on, 'tak masuk akal lah'

Or is it b’cos BN is planning another ‘takeover’ of a PR state government, huh?

Let’s implement Anti- hopping law and stop this crap of party hopping once and for all.

p.s.wishing you Nazri,
best of luck that PM will pick you as a Minister.
