WHAT A DAY!

About 9.30 this morning, on YouTube kinda made
me gasped with surprise. A pleasant surprise at that!

I was seeing the unbelievable!!
Primary and secondary students in full school uniforms
were doing a street demo downtown!

There were easily 2000 of them marching down
from the National mosque to Dataran Merdeka, singing
the National Anthem, clapping their hands in unison
and some could be seen dancing too.

They were one happy lot; they were supporting the PPSMI-
the teaching of Science and Maths in English. Banners like
‘We support PPSMI, We want English,” could be seen.

This scenario was a vast difference with the one held
earlier by the adults who opposed PPSMI, where
teargas was used by the police to disperse the street
demonstrators.

Later in the afternoon, I received a SMS telling me that
Tun Dr.Mahathir and Pak Lah were having lunch together
with their families at The Loaf Pavilion.

I rushed over in no time and caught them with my
phone-camera, they were eating and chatting happily like one
big happy family.


Ah, if only today is not APRIL FOOL’S DAY!!
How wonderful it would be, if today is some other day
But Damn,
Today it’s 1st APRIL.
