If you ever become a Menteri Besar for
a state government, the salary, rewards
and perks can be very
encouraging and
awesome too, especially overseas trips.
Imagine going to Disneyland all over, in
Hong Kong, Japan and USA with your officials
you could bring along your wife, children
and your maid too for technical study trips’.
You are not bother about the bills for some
state-owned corporations would take care of them
even though the sum maybe a staggering RM 5.5 million.
Then one day, if you are under investigations for
those overseas trips by a committee who called
themselves ‘SELCAT’, don't fret, just ignore them even
though you are required to be in the witness box.
You can claim that SELCAT is not a legal entity
so you are not answerable to them.
Perhaps, you think you would go free and you
are like the ‘UNTOUCHABLE’.
But perhaps, MACC is a legal institution and you
might not able to go free then?
MACC- stands for MALAYSIAN ANTI CORRUPTION COMMISION.
